2010–11 Football League One
The Football League One 2010/11 was the seventh season of the English Football League One as the third highest English league behind the Premier League and the Football League Championship, and also the 19th season of the second division of the Football League after the introduction of the Premier League in 1992. It started on August 7, 2010. Championship won Brighton & Hove Albion, which at the same time secured the participation in the Football League Championship season 2011/12. Behind runner- up FC Southampton Peterborough United secured a play-off system against Huddersfield Town, Milton Keynes Dons and AFC Bournemouth the third climber space. Relegated to the Football League Two Dagenham & Redbridge had that Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Swindon Town.
