2010–11 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup

The IIHF European Women Champions Cup 2010/11 was the seventh staging of the material discharged by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF competition. At discharged 29 October 2010 until February 27, 2011 participated in this tournament 20 teams from 20 countries. The final round was played in one of the countries and cities of finalists from 25 to 27 February 2011.

For the third time in the history of European Women Champions Cup Final Round none of the participants had been set. The four finalists were determined in two qualifying rounds.

Preliminary round

The preliminary round matches were held from 29 to 31 October 2010. As a venue for group A acted from Bolzano in Italy, in Ankara the games of Group B were held in Latvia Jelgava pairings of group C were held and the group D was played in St. Pölten.

The winners of Groups A and D, the HC Lugano and EHV Sabres Wien were eligible to participate in Group E, while the winners of the groups B and C, Aisulu Almaty and Vålerenga IF Oslo, were placed in the group F.

Second round

The matches of the second round were held until December 5, 2010 from 3. As a venue for the Group E Czech Kladno served and the group F was played in Lohja. It qualified in each case the two teams in the first positions of a group for the Super Final.

Group E

For the game of Group E SKIF Nizhny Novgorod Russia and HC Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic were already set.

Group F

For the games in Group F Ilves Tampere of Finland and the OSC Berlin were already set.

Super Final

The Super Final was held from 25 to 27 February 2011 in Lugano instead. Like last year, none of the four finalists was set. Only about two qualifying rounds, four teams have qualified.

With three wins from three games, the women's team of Ilves Tampere won the tournament and was the first non- Russian and non- Swedish team, which was the European Women Champions Cup win.
