2010 FIVB Volleyball World League

The 2010 season of the Volleyball World League was the 21st edition of the contest. It began on 4 June and ended on 25 July.

Mode

The preliminary ( " intercontinental round " ) was held in four groups of four teams. The group winners, the best runners and hosts Argentina qualified for the final round. In the final round the teams were divided into two groups of three and played " all against all ". The top two teams from each group reached the semi-finals Final.

With a 3:0 or 3:1, there were three points for the winner and not the loser. In a 3-2 winner of the opponents received two points, one point. If two or more team were level on points, the order specified in the table on the following criteria: First, the number of games won decided the case of equality the ratio of ball points, and finally the ratio of the rates.
