2013 Faroe Islands Cup

The Faroe Islands Football Cup 2013, also known as Løgmanssteypið 2013 took place between 30 March and 24 August 2013, and was played for the 59th time. In the final game, which was played in Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn on artificial turf, won defending Víkingur Gøta 2-0 EB / Streymur and could thus win the trophy for the third time. In addition Víkingur Gøta thereby takes part in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2014/15.

Víkingur Gøta and EB / Streymur occupied in the championship, the sixth and five. With Skala ÍF and FC Suðuroy reached two second division the quarterfinals.

Mode

All first-and second division were set for the first round. The remaining unterklassigen teams played in a round the remaining two participants. All rounds were played in the knockout system.

Qualifying round

The matches of the qualifying round took place on 30 March.

First round

The games of the first round took place on 13 and 14 April.

Quarterfinals

The quarter-finals were held on 5 May.

Semifinal

The first legs in the semi-finals were held on May 29, the return matches on 7 August.
