Qualifying
In the first qualifying session, which took place on Thursday, Felix Rosenqvist the fastest time before António Félix da Costa and Alexander Sims. 90 seconds before the end of the session was terminated due to an accident of Yuichi Nakayama with the red flag. Lucas Wolf had an accident in free practice and participated in the session, did not participate because his vehicle had not been repaired in time.
In the second qualifying session on Friday, the lap times were faster than the day before. The qualifying session was interrupted by three red flags that forced many drivers to abort their fast laps. Raffaele Marciello secured the pole position before Rosenqvist and Alex Lynn.
Qualifying race
Lynn started from position three well and sat down at the head of the field. Marciello lost from the pole starting several positions and was after the first lap in fifth. Rosenqvist took over during the first round of the lead ahead of Lynn, Lucas Auer, Felix da Costa and Marciello. Due to several accidents, the safety car was sent out.
After the second round, the track was released. Lynn took advantage of the flying start and overtook Rosenqvist on the start -finish straight. Auer made a mistake and crashed into the Plug limitation.

Race
Lynn started well again and kept the lead. Behind it there was a contact between Rosenqvist and Marciello at which Rosenqvist damaged the front right suspension and had to finish the race.
