The 9th floorball world championship of women was from 7 to 15 December 2013, Brno and Ostrava, Czech Republic, discharged. World champion Sweden was a 5-1 in the final over Finland.

Qualification and group classification

The top five teams in the World Cup 2011 were directly qualified for the World Cup 2013. The remaining places were awarded on qualifying tournaments beginning of the year 2013.
The qualified teams were divided into groups according to their world ranking after the World Cup 2011. The top eight teams were assigned to the groups A and B, the remaining eight groups C and D.
