( 2210) Lois is one of the main asteroid belt, which was discovered on September 24, 1960 as part of the Palomar - Leiden survey by the Dutch research team Cornelis Johannes van Houten, Ingrid van Houten - Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels.

Is named the asteroid after the wife of the American astronomer Ralph Belknap Baldwin.
