228 Hand-in-Hand Rally

The 228 Hand -in- Hand Rally (Chinese 228百万 人手 牵手 护 台湾) was a demonstration in the form of a human chain in Taiwan February 28, 2004.

Over one million Taiwanese formed a 500 km long human chain that stretched from the northern city of Keelung to the southern tip of Taiwan to remember the "incident of 28 February," and to for peace and against the deployment of the Republic of China ( Taiwan) directed missiles to demonstrate by the People's Republic of China.
