Chur is an asteroid with the number 269,550th It was discovered on 16 November 2009 by José De Queiroz, head of the observatory Mirasteilas in Falera, a Grison village, which lies about 20 kilometers from the Swiss city of Chur. The discovery was confirmed in July 2011 by the Minor Planet Center. Since the asteroid is formally named Churchill.
