( 29208 ) Halorentz is an asteroid of the main belt, which by the German astronomer frankness Börngen and Lutz D. Schmadel at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg (IAU code 033) was discovered in Thuringia on 9 September 1991.

Was named the asteroid after the Dutch mathematician and physicist Hendrik Antoon Lorentz (1853-1928), who developed the mathematical basis for the special theory of relativity, Albert Einstein and 1902 for the explanation of the Zeeman effect, in association with his pupil Pieter Zeeman received the Nobel Prize in Physics was excellent.
