300 North LaSalle

300 North LaSalle is a skyscraper in downtown Chicago, which was built from 2006 to 2009. The name of the building is derived from its address at 300 North La Salle Street, a plot directly on the Chicago River.

It is with a height of 239 meters currently the 14- tallest building in Chicago. The majority of the 60 floors of office space is taken of the owner Hines Interstates Limited to complete. The highest floor is located on 226 meters. At the core of the building, at a total of 32 elevators that can reach a speed of up to six meters per second. Architecturally, it is characterized by a rectangular plan with smaller " cuts " on the short sides. The floor plan is maintained up to and including the roof, only half way up there is a small, barely visible from the outside, return. The façade was completely covered with glass which gives the building its silver hue to the outside.
