Roman Republic
- Gaius Sulpicius Peticus and Tiberius Pennus Quinctius Capitolinus Crispinus be Roman consuls.
- The Roman Republic conquered Etruria, situated in Tuscany.
- For the first time the office of Roman Censor is awarded to a patrician and plebeian one. The patrician Gnaeus Manlius Capitolinus imperiosus, Gaius Marcius Rutilus of the plebeians.
Greece
- The Athenian politician Demosthenes holds the first of his speeches against Philip II ( diatribe )
- On the Chersonese peninsula it comes to fighting between the Athenians and the Macedonians under Charidemus. Also Selymbria is allied with Athens.
Persian Empire
- The revolt of since 412 BC, virtually independent Egypt expands eastward: Even Syria, Phoenicia and Cyprus rose up against the Persian king Artaxerxes III.
- Vahe is the new king of Armenia.
- 351/350 BC: Idrieus after the death of his sister Artemisia II satrap of Caria. He reigns jointly with his sister and spouse Ada.
