Reviews

  • Lexicon of international film: The attempt tried to work up a dark chapter in German - Austrian history is, at best discussion worth noteworthy due to its topic.
  • Prisma -online: Unfortunately, the result has maintained boredom with nostalgic images and an often annoying morality '.
  • Dietrich Kuhlbrodt in epd film 6/87: Director Wolfgang Glück ( The student Gerber ) filmed the book " That was Vienna " by Torberg, is thus ensured a never-ending barrage of dialogues on Basic German (...) A nostalgic. Fashion Show from A to Z. (...) But then you go right back into the chamber play, that is on the minds of the lovers, alternately recite the Torbergsatz one after another. Since the actors have very limited over -expression, you look better not go. But that's not necessary, since the film dramaturgy eh exhausted in radio play technique. " 38 " is a school radio broadcast.
