( 3902 ) Yoritomo is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on January 14, 1986 by the Japanese astronomer Shigeru and Takeshi Urata Inoda at the observatory of Karasuyama ( IAU code 889 ) in Tochigi Prefecture.

The asteroid was by Minamoto no Yoritomo (1147 - 1199) appointed, the first shogun of Japan and founder of the Kamakura shogunate.
