( 4805 ) Asteropaios is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 4805 ) Asteropaios was discovered on 13 November 1990 by the American astronomer Jean Carolyn Spellman Shoemaker. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L5.

It is named after the asteroid Asteropaios, one related to the Trojan War mythological figure.
