6th arrondissement of Lyon

The 6th arrondissement is an arrondissement ( district) of the French city of Lyon. 2008, there were 48 988 people.

The district is located in the northeast of the metropolitan area of Lyon. It is bordered to the west of the Rhone. To the north it borders on Caluire -et -Cuire, to the east by Villeurbanne, in the south to the 3rd arrondissement, in the southwest to the second and in the west by the 1st and 4th arrondissements.

It consists of the following neighborhoods (French Quarter ):

  • Masséna
