(82232) Heuberger

The asteroid ( 82232 ) Heuberger was discovered in the early morning of May 12, 2001 by Markus Griesser at the observatory Mountain Ash in Winterthur ( Switzerland ).

After extensive further observations succeeded friends of the discoverer, until then reveal unknown traces of this small celestial body in photographic plates of American and Australian observatories.

After numbering Griesser suggested to the competent committee of the International Astronomical Union named " Heuberger " in front. This honors his friend with Griesser Winterthur entrepreneur and patron Robert Heuberger and his wife Ruth.
