( 9612 ) Belgorod is an asteroid of the outer main belt, which was discovered by the Ukrainian astronomer Ljudmyla Schurawlowa on 4 September 1992 at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj (IAU code 095). An unconfirmed sighting of the asteroids had already given on 26 November 1987 at the Karl Schwarzschild Observatory in Tautenburg forest under the provisional designation 1987 WR2.

The sun orbit of the asteroid is highly elliptical with an eccentricity of 0.2142.

( 9612 ) Belgorod was named after the Russian city of Belgorod on 26 July 2000.
