Game content

In 9Dragons is a material Arts Action MMORPG, which is strongly influenced by Chinese mythology. It is the first game of its kind, which is based solely on the implementation of the well-known and respected in the Asian region wuxia literature. In this case, the Korean author Jwa Baek provided the literary model, which has been revised in the American and European version by Steven -Elliot Altman.

The game content and the presentation of the figures very heavily based on Asian martial arts styles. There are three basic factions in the game, the white clans like Wu -Tang Shaolin or the blacks clans like Heavenly Demon or Sacred Flower and the neutrals clan The Union of Noble Families ( The Union of noble families). The clan affiliation has this same value as the breed choice in the classic role-playing games, with only minor restrictions (for example, the Sacred Flower Clan female members only). The basic playful alignment is made only in the course of the game by the players themselves, that is, what role he would like to take in the game ( warrior, healer, mage or hybrid ) is not fixed from the beginning. Each clan here represents the same basic roles to choose from, which do not differ. Differences between two identical roles in two different clans merely arise from the few skills that are passed within the clan, and from the weapons that are used in the respective communities. In addition, the clan visually different in every respect from each other. The general character of development is based on a learning-by -doing system, which means that by the repeated execution of a skill this is slowly increased, which improves the effectiveness of rank to rank, however, a further increase precedes slower. The game has an rather open stage system whose limit is at level 240, but players can currently reach level 216. Due to the very high cost for achieving new levels and the very short reappearance time of opponents 9Dragons is generally considered a game that increased expenditure of time claimed if the upper third of the level system is the goal.

One moves during the game in a 3D environment with a tracking camera. The name of the game areas are extracted with a few exceptions from reality and can be grouped geographically in China and its surroundings ( for example, Hefei and Tibet are accessible ). It is offered in both PvE and PvP, for which purpose a simple form of PvP realm is made possible by the clans and accessories. The graphics and animation is for the time of development of very elaborate and well done and is based heavily on the theatrical and television movies in wuxia style. Opponents and quest content often refer to Asian legends and philosophies. Additionally, there are simple games of skill.

Financing

Unlike typical MMORPGs, which are funded by a fee payable monthly to the registered players, is in 9Dragons is a " free-to -play " game. This means there is no charge after the purchase of the game ( which is also available free on the Internet) due, but it is funded solely by the sale of premium products, which make the game easier and have an advantage over those in no money the game invest.
