A Baña

La Baña ( Galician Baña A ) is a municipality, a Parroquia and a place in the Autonomous Community of Galicia. It is located in the province of A Coruña in northern Spain. The 3849 inhabitants living on an area of ​​98.19 km2, 52 km away from the administrative capital of A Coruña.

History

The first mention of A Baña comes from a manuscript of 1153, which was found in the annals of the monastery of " San Xusto de Toxosoutos ".
