Action

Newspaper editor Victor Bláha is a man of inexhaustible imagination. To escape the boredom of everyday life, he invents almost incredible stories. So he trusts gullible fellow at an alleged secret and followed with great joy, how the alleged secret spread like wildfire. At the wedding of his former classmate Ivan Molenda Bláha spread about the groom such fabrications that the freshly closed marriage again threatened with closure. Ironically, as the tall tales threaten to fall back on him, learns Bláha Polda know. Polda features as well as Bláha a overactive imagination and stands him in nothing ...

Production

The film was made in the Barrandov Film Studios in Prague under the production of the National Film. Had its premiere Roztomilý Človek on July 4, 1941 at the Film Festival in Zlín ( Zlín II Filmové ZNE 1941).
