Streets of violence ( Kor. 비열한 거리, Biyeolhan geori ) is a South Korean gangster film in the style of a film noir from director Ha Yu from the year 2006., The fourth full-length feature film by director is the rise and fall of a young aspiring criminals in a nihilistic world of present.
The budgeted at 4.7 million U.S. dollars staging came into the South Korean theaters on 15 June 2006. The production reached on the first weekend in second place of the domestic box office and generated a total of 1.7 million moviegoers revenues of around 10.8 million U.S. dollars. In Germany the first publication took place on 14 June 2007 on DVD.
Action
The 29 -year-old Kim Byung -doo is an insignificant gang boss a hierarchical organization, which is led by the honorable underworld boss Hwang. The inconspicuous scoundrel is a man of strict principles, whose unconditional use is not, however, appreciated by his immediate supervisor Sang- chul. The small-time crook does not receive adequate remuneration. From the meager donations Byung -doo compensated yet his henchmen. In addition, he supported his sick mother in addition to the two siblings.
