A Great Big World is an American pop duo.

Band History

Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino met in New York to know at the university. They performed as a duo with self-written songs. First noticeable were her songs that have been used in television series such as One Tree Hill or as music news programs such as Good Morning America. In the series Glee their song This Is the New Year has been sung by the cast, which eventually led to Epic Records took the two musicians under contract.

Another song, Say Something, was So You Think You Can Dance used in the dance show, where it was Christina Aguilera heard. With their support, took A Great Big World the song as a single on and published it the end of 2013. Having the song in the talent show The Voice had been performed, where Aguilera was one of four coaches, the song reached number one on the U.S. download charts. Then in the official singles chart, it peaked at number four and quickly reached platinum status. Their debut album, Is There Anybody Out There? appeared in mid-January 2014.
