The A is one of the largest private yachts in the world. In the list of the longest motor yachts they occupied 14th place and owned by the Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko Igorewitsch.

Development

The HDW - German shipyard won the contract to build the built in steel and aluminum ship, the project name was only " SF99 " ( Starck Francis, 99 meters), then " Sigma". The design comes from the French designer Philippe Starck and the French design studio of Martin Francis. The outer shape is strongly reminiscent of the Zumwalt - class of the United States Navy. The Dutch shipyard Feadship is based on some of their buildings on it. Thus, the 2008-built Predator also got this look.

The price of this ship is said to have stood at around 200 million euros. The yacht was named after the first letter of the first name of the wife of Andrei Melnichenko Aleksandra.

Equipment

The interior design is also Philippe Starck was responsible. Inside the yacht, there are three lifts, a master suite and six guest suites.
