A. E. Kaye

AE Kaye was an American engineer who was nominated for the Academy Awards in 1938 for the Oscar for best sound.

Biography

Kaye was 1937-1938 as a sound engineer at Studio Sound Department ( SSD ) of the film production company Grand National involved in the production of seven films.

At the Academy Awards in 1938, he was nominated for the Oscar for best sound in the movie The Girl Said No (1937 ). More films from this period were Something to Sing About ( 1937), Tex Rides with the Boy Scouts (1937 ) Wallaby Jim of the Islands (1937) and International Crime (1938).
