A1 Steak Sauce

A1 is a common, especially in the Anglo-Saxon world, industrially produced condiment that is usually used for steaks and hamburgers. Originally the sauce in 1824 by Henderson William Brand, chef to King George IV of Great Britain has been developed.

First distributor of the sauce in the United States was GF Heublein & Brothers. Today's manufacturer is Kraft Foods.
