The Autostrada A4 (Romanian for ' A4 ') is a highway in Romania, which is mostly in the construction and planning. Their total length in finished condition should be about 60 km. It begins in Ovidiu and via Constanta to the Bulgarian border at Vama Veche. The A4, which will be four lanes open to traffic along its entire length, is to relieve traffic congestion in the city of Constanta. The half- ring around Constanta, who will be 23 km long, should be 2011 at the earliest passable.

On 29 July 2011, 7 km long section between the junction DN39 / Lazu and the interchange with the A2 motorway was opened to traffic. On 19 July 2012, the 10-km long section between the connection point and Constanta - Ovidiu West was opened.

Upon completion, the highway is a part of the branch B of Pan-European Transport Corridor IV, which is extended up to the Bulgarian city of Varna.
