The French Autoroute A43 is a motorway in eastern France which connects Lyon Saint-Jean -de- Maurienne and Modane through the Tunnel du Fréjus with Italy. It is managed by AREA and SFTRF. It is also known as Autoroute alpine or Autoroute de Maurienne.

- Mostly four-lane (2x2 lanes), sometimes up to eight lanes ( 2x4 lanes)
- Length: 208 km
- Opened in 1973, completed in 2004, see History
- Interspersed with exit 12a in Chambery and is there for the N201, but then begins again with Exit 20
