N58

By 2007, the N58 was a normal, managed by the province of Zeeland, ter road between Breskens and Sint Anna Muiden. After the revision of the streets in Zeeland this road but was resolved. In the original plan it was envisaged that the N58 should go via the tunnel or bridge to the Belgian border. These plans were then abandoned in the 1970s. By 2003, there were between Vlissingen and Breskens still a car ferry, which the northern part of the N58 was connected to the southern part. Since the opening of the Westerschelde tunnel ( N62) there is only one ferry for pedestrians and cyclists, and thus the southern part of the N58 was invalid and he was resolved.
