Aah is a Bollywood film with one of the most famous Indian screen couples: Raj Kapoor and Nargis.
Action
Raj comes from a wealthy family and is an engineer by profession, but where he really would rather be a poet. At the request of his father Raj to fulfill his late mother 's last wish. Therefore, he makes contact with Chandra. She is the daughter of a good friend of his father. He writes her letters full of love and poetry. But Chandra has no desire to reply and passes her younger sister Neelu this task. Touched by Raj's words, it builds on a Penpal under Chandra name. At the same time they decide to come to visit and meet already halfway there. After a few misunderstandings, the mystery clears up and they fall in love.
After so lucky the fate of its unpleasant side strikes: Raj is like once his mother falls ill with tuberculosis and will die within the next two years. Because of this, he wants to stay away from Neelu and befriends with Chandra. He does everything so Neelu no longer loves him. He even asks his friend and doctor Kailash to take Neelu wife.
Finally, both still find each other again and celebrate a glorious wedding.

Was composed the soundtrack of the duo Shankar - Jaikishan. The song lyrics are by Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri.
Reviews
The story may not be the most original, the staging is not arousing the sensation - but Kurzweil is guaranteed, not only because of the chemistry of Raj and Nargis, but also because of the newly staged first film half - which equally at Cyrano de Bergerac and the later Mujhse Dosti Karoge recalls.
