AAM-4 (Japanese missile)

The AAM - 4 is a medium-range air - to-air missile, which was put into service in 1999 when the Japanese forces with the designation Type 99. It was developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as a replacement for the AIM -7 Sparrow.
