Abenteuer Archäologie

Adventure archeology was a popular science magazine on the history of the people and exploring their cultures.

It was published publishing company since 2004, Heidelberger spectrum of science, initially every three months ( four times a year). Since August 2006, the magazine was published bi-monthly. With issue 5/2007 was published on 5 October 2007, the latest edition of adventure archeology. As part of an editorial realignment is the publisher in December 2007, a new magazine called epoc out.

Under the name of adventure archeology (Journal for Interdisciplinary and Applied Archaeology ) also was first published as Book No. 2, a publication of the e archeology club Arrata V. in 2000. The book was first conceived in 1999 as a supplement to the Hunsrück archeology days later as an annual magazine of the Association. To get aspirations in the years 2002 to 2004 support for one of the large publishers ' and distribute the magazine nationally failed. Efforts to obtain protection for the naming rights were rejected by the Patent Office. The book continues to serve as a regional club magazine marketed in the room Hunsrück and the Middle Rhine.
