Above Rocks is a small town in Jamaica. The village is located in Saint Catherine, a parish in Middlesex County. 2010, the population was 5,261 people.

Above Rocks was founded in the early 19th century by the Roman Catholic refugees. These came from Haiti, where just was present the Haitian Revolution. 1970 and 1991, Above Rocks was the ninth largest city in St. Catherine, each with 2,084 and 3,262 people.
