Abraham de Bruyn

Abraham de Bruyn (* 1538 in Antwerp, † 1587 in Cologne) was a Flemish painter and engraver.

He was the father of Nicholas de Bruyn, who was also known as an engraver.

Life

De Bruyn moved from 1577 to Cologne, but also been active in Antwerp beyond this date. His work in the style of the Renaissance in the tradition of Wierix school.
