Abu-Mansur Daqiqi

Abu Mansur Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Daqiqi (Persian دقیقی, * 930-940; † 976-980 ) was one of the first new Persian poet. The cities of Balkh, Tus, Samarkand and Bukhara are used as places of birth in question. From him comes the first significant attempt to summarize the Persian history in an epic.
