The language Abure (also abouré, Abule, akaplass and abonwa called, ISO 639-3: abu ) is one of two Western Tano languages within the Kwa language group, which is spoken by a total of 55,120 people from the ethnic group of the Abure in Ivory Coast.
A significant part of the speaker lives in the former capital Abidjan.
Many Abure Speakers are bilingual in the language Anyin, a Bia - language, and lately especially with the French, the official language of the country. The Abure is related to the Beti.
There are - inter alia by developing a writing and teaching this - to get the aspiration that language alive and to better inform the non-French - speaking spokesman.
