Acácio da Silva

Acácio da Silva Mora ( born January 2, 1961 in Mont Alegre, Portugal ) is a former Portuguese professional cyclist who was active from 1982 to 1994. During this time he won both stages of the Tour de France and the Giro d' Italia and numerous sections in further tours. Each at the Tour de France editions 1987 to 1989 he won a stage. After his stage win in 1989, he wore the yellow jersey for four days of the leaders in the overall standings. In 1986 he won both the Championship of Zurich as well as the national championship road race.
