ACCO Brands

ACCO is an American office products manufacturer, which include known subsidiaries such as Kensington, Swingline, GBC or Rexel ( Office Supplies ).

The parent company called ACCO Brands, the national daughters sometimes only briefly ACCO. ACCO generated with Office branded products annual sales of nearly $ two billion. ACCO is traded under the ticker symbol ABD on the stock exchange NYSE in New York.

History

In 1903, Fred J. Kline founded the Clipper Manufacturing Company in Long Iceland (New York), which produced paper clips. 1910, the company was changed to American Clip Company ACCO and used the nickname, the official company name (company ) in 1922. After many corporate takeovers ACCO went in 1983 to the stock market and was designed by the company American Brands (later Fortune Brands ) acquired in 1987. On 17 August 2005, the range of office products ACCO World from Fortune Brands was spun off and the merger with General Binding Corporation (GBC ) was founded, the company ACCO Brands.
