The Fire Maple or Amur maple ( Acer tataricum subsp. Ginnala ) is a subspecies of the plant species Tatar steppes maple ( Acer tataricum ) from the kind of maples ( Acer) in the family of Soapberry ( Sapindaceae ). In temperate latitudes, it is used as an ornamental plant in parks and gardens.

Description

When fire - maple is a small growing tree or shrub that rarely to 15 meters reaches a height of 3 to 5 feet. It grows loosely upright with spreading main branches and usually thinner branches. The nut fruit is a total of 2.5 to 3 cm long with the bald, translucent wings. They relate to each other at an acute angle to parallel.
