Acetamiprid is an aromatic heterocyclic chemical compound which is used as an insecticide, and belongs to the substance group of the neonicotinoids.

Use

Acetamiprid is used as an insecticidal active ingredient in pesticides. It is suitable for the control of biting and sucking insects such as scale insects, moth scale insects, whiteflies, fungus gnats and mealybugs. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the most approved products for the treatment of potted plants and ornamental plants are for. But it is also in vegetable growing, approved example of cucumber, tomatoes and salads and for control of aphids in pome fruit. Furthermore, acetamiprid also shows high activity against the larvae of the cherry fruit fly and is therefore approved in Switzerland and Austria for the commercial cultivation of cherries.
