ACiD Productions

ACiD Productions ( ACiD ), founded in 1990 is a scene artgroup which has originally specialized in ANSI - type mailboxes. In recent years, a changeover took place to other major activities such as software development and graphic design with the decline of the mailbox scene.

History

ACiD (ANSI Creators in Demand) was founded in 1990 by five members: RaD Man, Shadow Demon, Grimm, The Beholder and Phantom. Her work originally focused on ANSI and ASCII art, the group later also with other artistic media, such as tracking, demo programming and Multimediasoftwarentwicklung (eg, image viewing programs ) employed.

Mid-1990s, founded ACiD auxiliary groups which dealt separately with those same areas, for example Remorse, an official ACiD - subgroup, which deals exclusively with ASCII art and other text-based graphics. The situation is similar with pHluid which deals with tracking modules and music production.

Today, ACiD mainly focused on the preservation of digital art history, radio talk shows and the sale of its Artscene archive in DVD form.
