Ackendorf is a municipality in the district of High crimping crimp in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Ackendorf is about 16 km ( straight line ) northwest of Magdeburg. North of the village is the Mittelland Canal.

History

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Ackendorf merged with the district Glüsig, Bebertal, Eichenbarleben, United Santersleben, Hermsdorf, Hohenwarsleben, Irxleben, Niederndodeleben, Nordgermersleben, Ochtmersleben, Schackensleben and waves merged to High flange.

Coat of arms and flag

The coat of arms was approved on 28 June 2000 by the regional council of Magdeburg.
