To study the chemical substances Komedogenität the rabbit ear model was applied. The rabbit ear model is an animal model whose transferability is, however, seen to the human situation critical. It is considered so sensitive that it can be expected that a substance with little comedogenic activity in the rabbit ear no effect triggers in skin healthy people. However, people with Akneveranlagung could be affected. Finished products or mixtures that contain comedogenic substances are, therefore, not necessarily self -comedogenic.
