Acqua Fragile

Acqua Fragile was an Italian progressive rock band that was founded in 1971 in Parma.

Band History

After a long stay in the USA founded Bernardo Lanzetti Acqua Fragile with Gino Campanini and Piero Canavera, with whom he had already played together as immortalized Gli. Still under the old band name they had been discovered during an appearance by Premiata Forneria Marconi and give to their managers. Franz Dondi and Maurizio Mori completed the band in 1973 and released their self-titled debut album in Italy. It contained, for an Italian band at that time unusual, only English- pieces, which were mainly compared with Genesis and Gentle Giant. The following year saw Mass Media Stars, which came on the market in the U.S., but neither was successful as the debut.
