Acrotretida

The Acrotretida are an extinct order of brachiopods and are counted according to the classical scheme of the Linguliformea ​​. The shell is punctured phosphatig or chalky. The handle opening, if present, is located only in the pedicle flap and hinge margin is bent. Fossil evidence is there from the Lower Cambrian to the Devonian.
