Acton Vale, Quebec

Acton Vale is a town founded in 1862 (Ville ) in the Montérégie administrative region of the Canadian province of Quebec.

Acton Vale is the capital of the regional county municipality (MRC ) Acton. The city is situated on the banks of the river Rivière le Run, a tributary of the Rivière Noire.

The painter Serge Lemoine was born in this county and died. 2008, a park was named after him. Adjacent cities are Saint -Théodore - d'Acton, Upton, Sainte -Christine, Saint- Valérien -de- Milton and Roxton. Acton Vale in 1992 got the award industrial city of Montérégie. The community newspaper called La Pensee de Bagot.
