AD Almería

Agrupación Deportiva Almería was a Spanish football club based in Almería. The club was founded in 1971, disbanded in 1982 and was its home games at the Estadio Municipal Juan Rojas, now accommodates 13,500 spectators. AD Almería played a total of two seasons in the Spanish top flight, the Primera División.

History

The Club AD Almería was founded in 1971 in the Andalusian city of the same name. After the newly established club played his first year in a regional amateur league, he was classified by the Spanish Football Federation for the 1972/73 season in the Tercera División third-rate at that time.
