Ad Herbal

Adherbal or ad Herbal († 230 BC) was the commander of the Carthaginian fleet in the battle for supremacy in the Mediterranean during the First Punic War against the Roman Republic from 264 BC to 241 BC His command lasted at least until the battle of Drepana in 249 BC, the only naval victory of Carthage in this war.
