Adalbert I, Duke of Teck

Adalbert I of Teck, (* 1135, † by 1195), was a son of Conrad of Zahringen and called himself after the death of his brother Berthold IV Duke of Teck, arguing that existed until 1439 line of the Dukes of Teck.

Life

Adalbert I was the son of Conrad I of Zahringen and Clementia of Namur. His first name can be traced back to the brother of the mother.

After the death of his brother Hugo, Duke of Ullenburg he received his possessions in the Ortenau and the Breisgau. The position of the chamberlain of the Prince-Bishopric of Basel may have been occupied at Duke Adalbert I..
