Adam Burish

Adam Burish ( born January 6, 1983 in Madison, Wisconsin ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since July 2012 with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Adam Burish began his career as a hockey player in the 2001/ 02 season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League. During the NHL Entry Draft in 2002, he was selected in the ninth round as a total 282 players from the Chicago Blackhawks. In the years 2002 to 2006, however, Burish played for the hockey team from the University of Wisconsin- Madison from the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With the team in Joe Pavelski, Tom Gilbert and Jack Skille played, he won in 2006, the U.S. college championship.

In the summer of 2006, the Americans have been added to the roster of Chicago's damaligem farm team, the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League. In the season 2006/ 07, the attacker completed 64 games for the Admirals and scored 21 points scorer, including eleven goals. In the same season he made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League and played nine times for the Blackhawks.
